In December of last year, the Naval Academy imposed probation on about 40 cadets for 11 weeks, a first-degree severe discipline.

This is the reason for violating the rules of daily life that prohibited first-year students from dating the opposite sex on campus.

Through a thorough investigation, we searched not only last year, but also senior students who were dating in the past first grade.

[Naval Academy cadet A:'Voluntarily confess, if you don't report voluntarily at school, you lied, so things can get bigger later'.] The

cadets who were disciplined earned 300 points, which were fatal for their grades, and on weekends as well as after school days. Edo wears combat uniforms and is compulsory for self-study.

[Naval Academy Cadet B: It was really ridiculous, and the trust in the school was low and I was skeptical.] The

ban on dating of the opposite sex in the first grader, which was created to establish the discipline of new cadets, has been criticized for being anachronistic and human rights violations.

So, the Air Force Academy was abolished at the end of last year, and the Military Academy decided to abolish it this year, but only the maritimes are sticking to this rule.

[Parents of naval academy cadets: Even if they protest that they have military characteristics and are closed and rigid culture, the school accepts a suggestion and asks,'No matter how bad it is, shouldn't it be followed because it's a rule?'] In the

end, one naval academy cadet said. This week, he filed a petition with the National Human Rights Commission of Korea, saying, "The maritime is still in control of his privacy with outdated rules."

['Human Rights Commission complaints' naval academy cadets: I thought that regulating people's emotions with regulations itself would make no sense.] The

maritime officials said they were considering revising the controversial first-year ban on sex dating.
