Following the request for a warrant for arrest against the immigration head of the Ministry of Justice Cha Gyu-geun, the Seoul Central District Attorney General Lee Seong-yoon's suspicion of external pressure was handed over to the airlift.

Minister of Public Affairs Kim Jin-wook said that he would not keep the prosecution record and handle it in common sense.

Suwon District Prosecutors' Office said today (3rd) that it had transferred the alleged investigation by the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Seong-yoon Lee to the airlift in accordance with the Airlift Law.

Article 25, Paragraph 2 of the Airlifting Act stipulates that the case is handed over to the airlift if a prosecutor is found to be convicted of a crime of a high-ranking public official.

Prosecutor Lee, who was the head of the anti-corruption force at the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, put pressure on the investigation team for alleged illegal withdrawal against Kim Hak's former vice minister in June last year. He has been asking for his case to be handed over to the airlift.

Prosecutor Lee Gyu-won, who led the emergency withdrawal with fake documents, was also transferred to the airlift, and the possibility that the airlifter would return the case to the prosecution cannot be ruled out.

Airborne Minister Kim Jin-wook said to reporters on the way to work, "I will review the records" and "I will deal with the case with common sense."

Prior to this, the prosecution requested an arrest warrant against Cha Gyu-geun, the head of the Immigration Division of the Ministry of Justice, who approved the withdrawal action yesterday on charges of abandonment of work and abuse of ex officio.

This is the first case of a warrant of arrest among former Vice Minister Kim's suspected illegal withdrawal, and immediately after the request, the head of Cha headquarters applied for a convocation of the Investigation Review Committee to the prosecution, saying, "Withdrawal measures were inevitable and practical requirements were met."
