The Incheon Police Agency announced today (3rd) that it is planning to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and his wife, B, who are accused of child abuse and fatality at the age of 27.
They were arrested yesterday this morning for abusing and killing their 8-year-old daughter C at their home in Unnam-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
They reported to 119 yesterday at 8:57 pm, saying, "My daughter is not breathing."
Mr. B said to the paramedics at the time, "At about 2 am, the child hit the toilet on the forehead side of the toilet, and when I went to see it, I confirmed that he had injured his chin."
At the request of paramedics, the police dispatched to the scene found that there were bruises on Ms. C's forehead and elsewhere, and arrested Mr. A and Mrs. A.
Mr. A was investigated as Ms. C's stepfather.
Ms. C did not go to school yesterday, the first day of school.
The police said they will begin a full-scale investigation of Mrs. A from this afternoon, and that they will apply for an arrest warrant tomorrow.
