prosecution, who is investigating the allegations of illegal withdrawal against Kim Hak-e's former Deputy Justice Minister, has filed a preliminary arrest warrant against Cha Gyu-geun, head of the Immigration Division of the Ministry of Justice.

Then, Director Cha applied for a convocation of the Investigation Review Committee to determine whether the investigation was appropriate.

Cha Gyu-geun, head of the Immigration Division of the Ministry of Justice, who requested a warrant for arrest in advance by the Suwon Prosecutors' Office, is one of the key targets of investigation of the alleged illegal withdrawal against Kim Hak's former vice-minister last year.

The prosecution believes that there is a charge of abandonment of work and abuse of authority by approving it after the fact that the prosecutor Gyu-won Lee, who was a member of the Great Health Checkup Team at the time, made an emergency withdrawal as a fake document.

It is the first case that the prosecution requested a warrant for arrest among the suspects of illegal withdrawal from former Vice Minister Kim.

The prosecution said yesterday (2nd) that at about 6 pm, the court filed a request for an arrest warrant against the head of the headquarters, and immediately after that, the head of the headquarters of Cha said that it had applied to the prosecution to convene an investigation deliberation committee.

Mr. Cha's lawyer explained that he applied for a convocation of the Investigation Review Committee to determine whether the investigation and prosecution of the case were valid.

In particular, with regard to the prosecution's judgment that there were some procedural problems in the withdrawal process of former Vice Minister Kim, he refuted, "At the time, the emergency ban on departure was inevitable and practical requirements were also met.

However, there are many observations that it will not have a significant effect on the court's schedule of substantive examination of warrants and whether or not a warrant is issued, as the head of the headquarter Cha requested a convocation of the Investigation Deliberation Committee after the prosecution's request for an arrest warrant.
