As a

result of SBS coverage, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Hospital Association held a closed meeting yesterday (1st), and the priority targets of the corona-dedicated hospitals where Pfizer vaccination is in progress are health care professionals such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical technicians. In addition, we decided to expand it to the entire hospital.

The inoculation can be given priority to the in-hospital beauty salon, patient transfer staff, and medical assistants.

If the number of vaccines increased and the Pfizer vaccine was insufficient, the AstraZeneca vaccine was given.

The number of targets for vaccination at high-risk medical institutions starting on the 8th will increase.

Currently, more than 350,000 medical staff from 1,800 hospitals, including senior hospitals, are eligible for vaccination. In particular, we have decided to add all staff and inpatients in closed wards of mental hospitals.

The intention is to eliminate high-risk blind spots by vaccinating patients in many cases, and workers working in facilities at risk of group infection.

Meanwhile, the rate of consent for vaccination of health care workers at high-risk medical institutions such as general hospitals was calculated at 87%.

It is reported that the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has asked the medical community to encourage more people to get the vaccine.
