Suspected of trying to kill his companion in the Bouches-du-Rhône

It all started when the Salon-de-Provence gendarmerie gave the alert on Sunday morning.

She is looking for a man who would have tried to kill his partner in the Bouches-du-Rhône, at night.

When he is spotted, the 60-year-old is driving towards Bordeaux on the A62 motorway.

A dam was then put in place at the Saint-Selve toll.

When the fugitive arrives, he refuses to stop.

The driver then takes out a gun and fires four times.

The soldiers, deployed to question him, retaliated.

They hope to have touched the tires of the car, but the fugitive accelerates and moves away.

The gendarmerie then takes off a helicopter.

As the Bordeaux metropolis approaches, the police join the gendarmes.

The fugitive tumbles onto the bypass, takes an exit and this time enters the narrow streets of Villenave-d'Ornon.

More shots rang out.

A little after 6 p.m., at the approach of a roundabout, the police manage to block the fugitive.

Complaining of the back, the sixty-year-old was hospitalized a few hours before being taken into custody.
