Im Seong-geun, head of the Busan High Court, who was involved in the'suspicion of intervening in the trial' and was about to be judged for impeachment of the judge for the first time in history, issued a statement ahead of his retirement on the 28th.

Deputy Judge Im said in a retirement post posted on the court's internal network today (26th), saying, "I sincerely ask for forgiveness to all those who have suffered pain or discomfort due to me." .

He added, "I thought I would leave the court someday, but I couldn't even imagine that I would leave like this without even saying hello," he added. "Now I am leaving the court after taking off the heavy legal suit that was overwhelming for my ability."

There was no mention of any suspicion of involvement in the trial as the reason for the impeachment prosecution or the impeachment trial.

The Constitutional Court was initially scheduled to hold the first trial for the impeachment trial today before the end of the term of Deputy Chief Judge Lim, but delayed the trial schedule as the hearing of the challenge raised by Judge Lim against Judge Lee Seok-tae, the chief judge, was lengthened.
