were 396 new corona19 confirmed cases that occurred yesterday (24th), approaching 400.
Of these, 369 people, excluding 27 people from overseas, were infected in Korea, and about 70% came from the metropolitan area.
The number of new confirmed cases has soared to 600 units right after the Lunar New Year holiday, and now is up and down 300-400 units, but it is a situation that cannot be relieved.
This is because, after the Lunar New Year holidays, some of the distancing guidelines have been eased, and cases of infection through family and acquaintances are continuing.
In connection with a family gathering in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, 10 people have been confirmed until yesterday, and 12 people have been confirmed so far at a family and acquaintance meeting in Suwon-si.
The cumulative confirmed cases related to family gatherings and hot springs in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do have also increased to 86.
Additional infected people continue to appear in large-scale workplaces where the existing group infections have occurred.
With sporadic infections continuing, new distancing guidelines will be released tomorrow morning, starting next week.
The quarantine authorities are planning to prepare a new distance adjustment plan taking into account the recent spread of Corona 19, national fatigue, and losses of self-employed people.
Meanwhile, in connection with the announcement of the March 1 rally by some groups, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun requested that the urban rally is sufficient to spark the spread of Corona 19 and immediately withdraw the plan.
