A woman in her 60s was caught by the police who posted a leaflet on the street with false information saying,'If you get the Corona 19 vaccine, you will die.'

The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency announced today (25th) that a 68-year-old woman, A, was arrested on charges of violating the management law, including outdoor advertisements.

On the 8th of this month, Mr. A is accused of attaching 33 flyers containing false information on bus stops and power poles around Namdong-gu, Incheon, saying,'There is a chip in the vaccine, you die if you get a vaccine.

The Incheon Nonhyeon Police Department received 112 reports on the 14th, arrested Mr. A the next day, and turned the case over to a wide area investigation unit, seeing that the matter was serious due to the spread of fake news related to Corona 19.

It was investigated that Mr. A went to a church in Daejeon earlier this month to receive ordination prayers twice and received the leaflet.

Mr. A insisted in the police, "I didn't know Korean because I didn't learn anything," and "I thought it was a church leaflet with doctrine and attached it."

The police believe that Mr. A's statement is unreliable and is continuing the investigation to see if there are any people who ordered the distribution of fake leaflets.

Police officials said, "We are going to check the author of the first flyer, etc."
