AstraZeneca vaccine, which started from the Icheon Logistics Center in Gyeonggi-do at the dawn of the 25th, is currently being delivered to over 1,900 health centers and nursing hospitals nationwide.

There is a reporter at the Dobong-gu Health Center in Seoul, where vaccinations begin tomorrow.

Reporter Kim Hyung-rae, please tell us the situation there.

Vaccination is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning at the Dobong-gu Health Center in Seoul, where I am in. Just 10 minutes ago, a vehicle with 500 AstraZeneca vaccines scheduled for today arrived.

Originally, it was expected to depart at around 5:50 am from the Gyeonggi Icheon Logistics Center, where the vaccine was stored, but as it was the first delivery, the overall temperature check was delayed a little.

Currently, we are making sure that the arrived vaccine is at the correct temperature and the quantity is correct during transport.

When finished, the vaccine is stored in a dedicated refrigerator until tomorrow.

What is the vaccination schedule in the future?

<Reporter>

The first vaccination in Korea starts at 9 am tomorrow.

The target is for workers and residents under the age of 65 at nursing hospitals and facilities nationwide. When asked yesterday, the Commissioner of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Jung Eun-kyung answered that all vaccinations nationwide are the first vaccinations, not specific individuals.

It means that we will not be targeting a specific person as vaccination starts at the same time at public health centers and nursing facilities.

Some local governments have released regional 1 vaccinations tomorrow.

In the case of Sejong City, a nursing hospital nurse was selected, a doctor and a nurse from Hongseong Korean Hospital in Chungnam, and a director of the radiology department of a nursing hospital in Daejeon.

The health authorities plan to complete the first dose of the 289,000 people who agreed to the vaccination within the next month.
