AstraZeneca (AZ), the country's first corona 19 vaccine to be vaccinated by Jeju residents, was being transferred to Jeju Island, and all of them were recovered.
According to the disease authorities, 3,900 doses of vaccine to be inoculated to Jeju residents yesterday (24th) afternoon were shipped from the distribution center in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do through a refrigerated truck, but the entire amount was recovered outside the proper temperature range during transportation, and another transportation vehicle was sent.
The vaccine to Jeju arrived at the Mokpo ferry terminal at 11 o'clock last night and was scheduled to arrive in Jeju around 1 o'clock this morning, but it was found that the video fell 1.3 to 1.5 degrees, out of the range of 2 to 8 degrees, which is the proper temperature.
Accordingly, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention returned the vehicle in question to the distribution center and started a vehicle loaded with a new vaccine.
The new vaccine is scheduled to arrive at Jeju Port around 6 am today as scheduled.
