Yesterday, the number of new corona19 confirmed cases appeared to be 440, rising to 400 again in three days.
In the last week, the number of confirmed cases in Korea averaged 427, and it is still in the range of 2.5 steps.
Of the newly confirmed cases yesterday, 417 cases were infected in Korea. By region, 292 people were infected in metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, and 125 people were also infected in non-capital areas such as Gangwon, Busan and Chungnam.
Three more patients infected with Corona 19 died yesterday, killing 1,576 so far.
In a call center for an insurance company in Seo-gu, Gwangju, 25 people, including 23 employees and 2 family members, have been confirmed since the 22nd.
The quarantine authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into over 1,500 workers in the building where this call center occupies.
In addition, group infections related to family gatherings during the Lunar New Year holidays are also continuing.
7 new confirmed patients came out as a family gathering for the Gyeongnam-Gyeonggi New Year holidays, and the number of confirmed cases increased in existing meetings such as Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do and Uiseong, Gyeongbuk.
14 people were confirmed at a workplace in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
In addition, 227 at Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Seoul, 179 at Namyangju Plastic Factory and 62 at the Seongnam Ballroom.
As the current metropolitan area 2nd stage and the non-metropolitan area 1.5-stage distance distancing measures have ended at the end of this month, the government is struggling with the distancing adjustment plan to be applied starting next week.
The new distance adjustments are announced this Friday.
