Today (21st) morning, off the coast of Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Rescuers carrying oxygen tanks and searching all over the overturned ship pull out a man from the space on one side of the ship.

Holding the hand of the rescuer, this man swims up the water, splitting the current with his hand.

That evening, a 56-year-old engineer Ryumo was dramatically rescued in two days from a red crab fishing boat that sank in the sea 42km east of Gampo-eup, Gyeongju.

It is the first survivor to be found among the six missing in this accident.

The coast guard says that Ryu was not wearing a life jacket when he was rescued.

An air pocket was created in the storage area at the end of the ship as the ship turned over rapidly due to the fierce waves.

[Pohang Coast Guard: You know what the ship structure is and how it is (because it's an engineer)?

Had you not gone there because he knows well

Earlier, the coast guard found a missing sailor from Vietnam in the sea near the fishing boat at around 9:20 am, but it is said that he is not conscious and pulseless.

At the time of the flood, there were 2 Koreans, 3 Vietnamese sailors, and 1 Chinese Korean on board.

The Coast Guard said it plans to investigate the whereabouts of the rest of the crew as well as the details of the accident as soon as Ryu fully recovers.
