The number increased by 164 from yesterday (457), and it has risen to 600 again in 38 days since January 10th (657).
Looking at the infection route of today's new confirmed cases, local outbreaks were 590 and overseas inflows were 31.
The number of confirmed cases of local outbreaks estimated to have been infected within the community also reached 600, the highest since the 10th of last month (623).
The'third pandemic', which started in earnest since mid-November last year, showed a gradual decline after peaking (December 25th, 1,240 people), but recently sporadic infections followed and the trend turned back to an increase.
