HBO Max, “Warner's Netflix” will be launched at the end of the year in Europe -

Next June, Warner Bros. will launch its HBO Max streaming offer in 39 Latin American countries.

The service will then be deployed in Europe at the end of the year.

Several markets are mentioned, but the full list of the countries concerned has not been published.

We already know that HBO Max will be available in Spain and Portugal in 2021. Central and Northern Europe should also host the platform at the same time, Warner Bros. does not however specify which countries these regions include.

Exclusives that make the difference

In the United States, HBO Max managed to capture an 8% market share in the space of a few months.

The streaming platform is very successful, in large part thanks to a few pretty little exclusives that have landed on it, like Wonder Woman 1984 which alone would have generated several million new subscriptions.

Faced with the success of its platform, Warner Bros made a risky decision: to release in 2021 all of its catalog of new products simultaneously on the platform and in the cinema.

Godzilla vs Kong

,

Mortal Kombat

,

Space Jam

,

The Suicide Squad

or

Dune

will therefore be part of the productions intended to appeal to subscribers.

Several exclusive content will also be specifically developed for the platform.
