A wild boar with African swine fever (ASF) was discovered in Gangneung, Gangwon-do.
The Gangwon Provincial Office said on the 11th that a wild boar that was hunted in a hill in Nodong-ri, Sacheon-myeon, Gangneung, was confirmed yesterday (13th) with ASF.
This wild boar was found 13km southeast of Yangyang 7th Station.
The quarantine authorities are planning to conduct a detailed inspection after identifying that no special matters have been found in 9 farmhouses within 10 km of the quarantine zone.
