Today, the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday, highways across the country are generally showing a smooth flow except for some sections.

First, the traffic volume near Geumcheon toward Seoul on the West Coast Expressway is increasing and some sections are congested.

In the direction of Cheonan, near the Jeongan Interchange on the Nonsan Cheonan Expressway, there is also a frustrating trend.

The Korea Expressway Corporation predicts that 3,490,000 vehicles will move around the country today due to the interlocking of return vehicles and return vehicles.

There are about 300,000 vehicles moving from the metropolitan area to the provinces, but the last-minute procession continues, but it is expected to show the level of congestion that is comparable to the usual weekend.

Based on the Seoul Tollgate at 12:00 noon today, it will take 5 hours from Busan to Seoul, 1 hour and 40 minutes from Daejeon to Seoul, and 4 hours and 40 minutes from Ulsan to Seoul.

The Korea Expressway Corporation predicts that the traffic volume will gradually increase and peak at around 3-4 pm and then clear up around 10 pm.

In addition, compared to the previous year, the amount of vehicle movement and congestion is small, but it is recommended to drive safely by complying with the regulated speed and maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
