A scandal that is added to another case

This new case comes as the department of Seine-Saint-Denis was hit by the scandal of the security and intervention company (CSI).

This controversial unit is targeted by fifteen investigations for acts of theft, violence, drug possession and forgery in public writing.

Four police officers were indicted in July 2020, but a total of around twenty officials are implicated.

The Paris police prefect, Didier Lallement, had announced the dissolution of CSI 93, which was finally reorganized and placed under the authority of the Paris CSI.
