Self-employed people protesting the measure to open only until 9 pm today (10th) held a demonstration at a pub in Seoul in the early morning.

The protest continues for the third day.

They urged the installation of a quarantine standard adjustment mechanism in which self-employed persons participate.

At 0 am today, dozens of self-employed people gathered at a pub in Seocho-gu, Seoul.



They protested for nearly an hour holding pickets with “Stop torture of hope” and “I want to live”.



Members of the National Self-Employed Emergency Response Committee said they have been forced to sacrifice only self-employed people for more than a year, and urged the government to immediately abolish the restrictions on business operations after 9pm.

Fires followed overnight.



Last night, around 11:30, a fire broke out at a villa construction site in Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.



No one was injured, but the fire extinguished in two and a half hours after burning 3 buildings under construction.

around 9 p.m., a fire of unknown cause broke out at the polyurethane foam manufacturing plant in Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do.



The firefighting authorities issued the first stage of response and mobilized over 110 manpower and 50 equipment to continue the firefighting work.



Police and fire departments are investigating the exact cause of the fire based on reports that a box was burning at the incinerator.
