Im Seong-geun, a lawyer for the Busan High Court, whose impeachment is being promoted in the National Assembly, released a transcript of the conversation between Supreme Court Chief Kim Myung-soo and Deputy Chief Judge Lim.

In a transcript released today (4th) by Deputy Chief Judge Im, Supreme Court Chief Justice Myung-Soo Kim said, "I am installing something like that to impeach it, but if I accept my resignation, what will I hear from the National Assembly?"

Also, "There is a system called impeachment, I don't think there is a reality, or I don't think that it should be impeachment, but for now, it is a political thing and the situation is a different problem. You can't do it. It's not really appropriate to be accused of that.”

The lawyers explained that the transcript was made in an interview held in May of last year when Judge Lim expressed his appreciation.

Earlier, on May 22, last year, Vice-President Judge Lim insisted that in the course of an interview with the Supreme Court regarding his resignation, "Supreme Court Kim said,'If we accept the resignation, we will be unable to discuss impeachment in the National Assembly, so we may be accused.

In response, the Supreme Court refuted, "There is no fact that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has said to Judge Lim that'the resignation cannot be accepted due to the issue of impeachment.
