A passenger who left a bag of drugs in a taxi was arrested for investigation by the police.



The Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Police Department announced today (2nd) that A (49) male and B (36) female are being arrested and investigated for violating the Narcotics Control Act.



Earlier, on the morning of the 31st of last month, the police received a report from a taxi driver saying that two men and women who boarded in Gangnam-gu, Seoul and got off in the vicinity left bags in a taxi.



In the process of scanning the inside of the bag to check for lost items, the police found 2 gram of methamphetamine, 1 gram of heroin, and a syringe, and immediately initiated an investigation.



Police confirmed their identities and arrested Mr. A and others at a motel in Seoul yesterday the next day.



In the following simple drug test, both Mr. A and Mr. B tested positive, and the police are investigating the charges against them.



Mr. A is an office worker, and Mr. B is an entertainment business employee, and it is said that he is living together.



They are known to have stated that "I bought it on the Internet and tried to take it" about the drugs in the bag.



The police are investigating specific drug administration charges and female offenses of Mr. A and others, and are considering whether to apply for an arrest warrant.
