Kautilya Katariya became the world's youngest programmer specializing in artificial intelligence at the age of 6 years and 346 days.

The record was officially awarded to the young Briton by Guinness World Records last year.

The little boy received in November 2020 five certifications in artificial intelligence and computer language Python after taking courses provided by IBM, the company said on its blog.

The budding developer has followed all of his teachings from home with the help of his parents because of the health crisis linked to the coronavirus.

To achieve this level of programming mastery, he notably took the IBM online course on Python applied to data science.

Kautilya Katariya also validated remotely all the stages of the professional certification “Basics of AI” offered by the computer giant via the online education portal edX.

Faced with the Covid-19 pandemic, the little boy and his entourage explained that they saw these lessons as a way to continue to progress.
