The number of new corona 19 confirmed cases has fallen to 300 in five days.
The Central Defense Response Headquarters announced that as of today (31st) 0 o'clock, there were 355 new cases of Corona 19 in Korea.
It has decreased by 103 people from yesterday, and reached 300 again in five days after the 26th, which recorded 349.
The cumulative confirmed number is 78,205.
There were 325 infections in Korea and 30 infections from overseas.
The decrease in the number of confirmed cases seems to be a big effect of the decrease in the number of tests on weekends by half compared to weekdays.
The government said that the number of confirmed cases could increase at any time due to the high risk of community infections, such as the outbreak of group infection from IM Mission and the outbreak of Hanyang University Hospital and Boramae Hospital in Seoul.
The government is announcing a social distancing adjustment plan that will take effect next week and whether to extend the ban on private gatherings for more than 5 people this afternoon.
Currently, step 2.5 for social distancing in the metropolitan area and step 2 for non-metropolitan areas are being applied.
