of issuing a false internship by the Open Democratic Party, and sentenced him to eight months in prison and two years of probation.



It is said that the confirmation that the son of former Attorney General Cho Kook in 2017 issued an internship at Choi's lawyer's office was fake.



The judge explained that it was unable to admit that Cho's son had regularly performed his duties, given objective data and witness statements.



In addition, he said that the internship certificate issued by CEO Choi could not be taken lightly as it would undermine the fairness of the entrance exam.



Representative Choi announced that he would leave the court and appeal immediately after the sentence.
