To maintain its leading position in the search engine market, Google cannot rest on its laurels.

This is why the Web giant regularly brings improvements to its site or its mobile application, whether it be new features or visual redesigns.

This is how Google announces the deployment of a brand new design for the mobile version of its search engine.

A new version focused on simplicity, assures the American company.

The interface has received a "major visual overhaul" that will enhance information, improve readability of text and make browsing search results easier.

“We wanted to take a step back and simplify it a bit so that people can find what they're looking for faster and easier,” said Aileen Cheng, designer at Google.

“Rethinking the visual design of something like research is really complex.

This is especially true given the evolution of Google search.

We don't just organize the information on the web, but all the information in the world.

More clarity

The result looks cleaner, so users can more easily focus on the content and reading it.

The text appears in Google's specific font, which brings a certain consistency with the other services of the Mountain View firm.

The titles are bolder and wider which makes them easier to read.

Note also the presence of more colors, in order to attract the user's gaze to certain points.

The new version of Google's mobile search engine is being rolled out to all users.

This redesign applies to the mobile application (iOS and Android) as well as to the web version of Google on smartphones.
