The lifeless body of this woman "born in 1981" was discovered late Tuesday afternoon in her vehicle parked in the parking lot of the company where she worked, Ms. Sorita-Minard said in a statement.

These are "other employees" of this company who discovered it, said the magistrate.

According to the first elements noted by the forensic scientist, "the victim was killed by a firearm", added Ms. Sorita-Minard, who opened a "flagrante delicto for murder".

The prosecutor indicated having seized the research section of the Gendarmerie of Strasbourg as well as the research brigade of the gendarmerie of Colmar in order to determine "the precise circumstances of these facts".

An autopsy must be carried out Friday at the Forensic Institute in Strasbourg, according to Ms. Sorita-Minard, who also ordered additional forensic examinations.
