On Wednesday morning, T-Mobile had to contend with a malfunction, as a result of which an unknown number of customers cannot use the fixed internet.

The problems are now over.

The provider confirmed the malfunction on its website.

"We are receiving reports that a number of customers are experiencing problems with the fixed internet on our fiber optic network. At the moment we are looking for the cause and the solution," wrote T-Mobile.

The problems arose in the morning and were resolved around noon.

Due to the outage, customer service was also difficult to reach by telephone.

According to a spokesman for T-Mobile, it is unclear what exactly is the cause of the outage.
