The number of corona19 confirmed cases, which declined in the new year, is increasing again as the group infection initiated by IM missions spreads.
There were 176 confirmed cases related to Daejeon IEM International School operated by IM Mission, and 147 confirmed cases related to Gwangju TCS International School. In Daejeon and Gwangju alone, 323 persons including students and faculty members have been confirmed.
The quarantine authorities estimate that there have been continuous exposures in IM mission-related facilities. Currently, it is conducting a preemptive inspection while investigating the contacts of the confirmed patients by residence.
The quarantine authorities requested that those involved, such as visiting the IM mission facility, promptly undergo diagnostic tests at the public health center.
