The COVID-19 vaccination plan will be officially announced next week.



Ko Jae-young, head of the crisis communication team at the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bang Dae-bon), said at a regular briefing on the 23rd, "A briefing related to the implementation of the Corona 19 (vaccine) vaccination will be held on Thursday the 28th."



The government has prepared a'Vaccination Implementation Plan' that specifically stipulates the targets for vaccination and methods of vaccination through the'Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Group', led by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.



In summary, the vaccination plan is expected to include details on recommended targets for priority vaccination, such as who will receive the corona 19 vaccine sequentially introduced from the beginning of next month, and where will be received.



In addition, it is expected to include information on how to manage if an adverse reaction occurs after vaccination.



The government has signed vaccine purchase contracts with individual pharmaceutical companies such as'Covax Facility', an international project for joint vaccine purchase and distribution, and individual pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, Janssen, Pfizer, and Modena, securing a total of 56 million people.



Among them, if the initial supply of Kobax is 50,000 people, it is expected that it will be the first to enter Korea in early February.



Pfizer's products are being actively considered for vaccines to be received from COVAX.



The government is speeding up the preparation work by designating and operating 10,000 consigned medical institutions and 250 vaccination centers to ensure smooth vaccination.
