From 9:45 am today, the police mobilized more than 600 policemen and began to forcibly disperse 50 residents who were demonstrating on the road in front of the Soseong-ri town hall.

Residents demanded the suspension of construction of the Saad base and withdrawal of construction equipment and materials.

The police said, "Move to the place where you reported the rally and hold the rally," they broadcasted warnings several times, and then went on to disperse the residents sitting on the road in two round trips.

Residents are concerned about collisions against the police by putting themselves in a ladder-shaped structure.
