We can easily imagine that YouTube could earn a percentage of the sales made through this.

The creators of this pilot can add certain products to their videos.

Viewers can then see a list of featured products by clicking on the cart icon in the lower left corner of the video.

At present, this is still only a test.

Nothing says that the feature will one day be rolled out to all users, but the fact that Google already offers a similar feature on its search engine leaves little room for doubt.
