The city of Seoul announced today (21st) that a total of 129,000 square meters of eight public redevelopment candidates announced by the City and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 15th will be designated as land transaction permission zones for one year.

The Seoul City Planning Committee, which was held yesterday, approved a proposal to designate a land transaction permission zone.

The designation proposal goes into effect on the 26th after public announcement.

The designation period for the land transaction permission zone is until January 25 of next year, and the city plans to reconsider the extension at the time of expiration.

The city explained, "All candidates are existing maintenance zones around the station area, and this is based on the judgment that there is a high risk of inflow of speculative demand due to the promotion of public redevelopment projects."

In the Land Transaction Permitted Zone, you must obtain permission from the head of the local government when trading houses, shopping malls, and land over a certain size.

The area subject to permission for the land transaction permission zone in the candidate site for public redevelopment in Seoul is over 18㎡ in residential areas, over 20㎡ in commercial areas, and over 66㎡ in industrial areas.

These are all minimum areas that can be set in accordance with applicable laws.

A person who has been granted permission must use the land only for the purpose for which it is licensed, such as self-residency or self-management for a certain period of time.

Residential use can only be used for two years.

The candidate sites for public redevelopment in Seoul are Heukseok 2 in Dongjak-gu, Yangpyeong 13 and 14 in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yongdu 1-6 and Sinseol 1 in Dongdaemun-gu, Bongcheon 13 in Gwanak-gu, Sinmun-ro 2-12, Jongno-gu, Gangbuk District 5, Gangbuk-gu.
