One month after the launch of 5G in Lyon by SFR, its competitor Orange announces this Wednesday that it will, in turn, deploy this new mobile network in eight other municipalities in the agglomeration: Bron, Charbonnières-les-Bains, Corbas, Pierre-Bénite, Rillieux-la-Pape, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, Vaulx-en-Velin and Villeurbanne.
"This launch of 5G at 3.5 GHz (dedicated only to the latest generation of phones) brings speeds up to three to four times faster than 4G to meet the changing needs of customers," said the operator. in a press release.
