ABN AMRO and ING are faced with a malfunction on Tuesday afternoon.

As a result, customers of ABN Amro cannot use internet banking and customers of ING cannot use the investment app.

A spokesperson for ABN AMRO confirms that the bank is dealing with a malfunction that occurred in the course of the afternoon.

"Due to the outage, customers are having problems logging in for internet banking. We are trying to solve the problem as quickly as possible."

An ING spokesperson also confirms that the bank is experiencing a malfunction.

"As a result, customers cannot use the investment app. Internet banking is possible."

It is unclear exactly what time the faults occurred and whether they are related.

The cause of the problems is also unknown.
