The police arrested and investigated the owner of an entertainment business in Incheon, who had been illegally operating in violation of the ban on gathering orders, and a customer who was drinking at the business.

The Incheon Michuhol Police Department said that it was investigating a nightlife bar owner A in her 40s and a customer B in her 30s on charges of violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.

According to the police, Mr. A is accused of violating an order prohibiting gatherings by illegally operating an entertainment bar in Michuhol-gu, Incheon on the 6th.

The entertainment bar was in a state of being unable to operate due to an order prohibiting gatherings to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mr. B, who was drinking at the time, was asked to submit his cell phone while drinking because the owner was concerned about reporting illegal business.

The police arrested Mr. B and Mr. A on the scene for violating the order to prohibit the gathering, but all the rest of the guests have fled and are tracking them.

A police official said, "We are identifying and tracking customers based on CCTV images in the entertainment establishment."
