Yesterday (17th), the number of new corona 19 confirmed cases decreased to 389 for the first time since last November.

were 389 new cases of Corona 19 in Korea yesterday.
It has been 54 days since November 25 last year that the number of new confirmed patients recorded 300.
Among the new confirmed cases, 366 were domestic cases excluding 23 foreign inflows.
By region, 244 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 128 in Seoul and 103 in Gyeonggi, and 122 people, including 20 in Gyeongnam and 18 in Gyeongbuk, were confirmed.
As 15 people died during COVID-19 treatment, the cumulative death toll was 1,264.
The quarantine authorities explained that it will collect medical information in detail and reflect it in the vaccination plan on the recent death of 29 elderly people with severe illness in Norway after being vaccinated.
In addition, if the approval process proceeds smoothly, it is predicted that the domestic Corona 19 antibody treatment will be available from next month.
