After the success of the autumn campaign, and as a consequence of the mobility restrictions due to the pandemic, Paradores
has extended its offer to promote its establishments among residents

With it, residents of cities, provinces or regions in which perimeter confinements have been imposed will be able to stay in ancestral castles, centenary monasteries, palaces and other historical buildings of the chain
near their town from 67 euros per night

The rate is for standard double rooms (optional breakfast) and includes a 50% discount on the price of the spa entrance and
green fee
(where applicable), as well as a 20% discount on the menu at the Parador restaurant (drinks not included).

It has been prayed, but, after its remodeling,
the convent of San Marcos
has finally reopened its doors
, one of the most important monuments of the city, built in the 12th century, which today houses the National Parador.
A landmark of the Spanish Renaissance, its awe-inspiring single-canvas façade is a Plateresque pearl.
Inside there are several cloisters, a chapter house and a library located in the Upper Cloister.

Toledo

In the Plaza del Obradoiro, next to the Cathedral, the spectacular Hostal dos Reis Católicos-El Parador de Santiago is located, in a 15th century building, which was an old accommodation for pilgrims.
The Hostel was born as a Royal Hospital in 1499 to house the pilgrims heading to Santiago and still preserves many original elements of the building, such as vaulted ceilings, stone arches and tapestries.

At the top of a hill, on a set of steep walls and surrounded by lush vegetation in the Hoz del Huécar, on the outskirts of the city, the Parador occupies an old convent from where you can get unbeatable views of the magical hanging houses of Cuenca .
