A former Seoul Mayor's secretary office employee accused of sexually assaulting a fellow public official was sentenced to imprisonment and held in court.

The 31st Division of the Seoul Central District Court's Criminal Agreement (President Judge Sung-pil Jo) sentenced Mr. A to the trial on charges of quasi-rape punishment today (14th) and sentenced him to three years and six months in prison and imprisoned.

The judge stated the reason for the sentence, saying, "The defendant is not guilty of inflicting post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on the victim by committing adultery to the victim who is incapable of resisting alcohol," and said the reason for the sentence.

He pointed out that the secondary damage was significant because the media reported that both the defendant and the victim were public officials at the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Mr. A took the drunk victim B to a motel on the eve of the April 15 general election last year and was handed over to trial for sexual assault.

It is known that Mr. A has been working as a protocol for the late Mayor of Seoul Park Won-soon since several years ago, and was then relegated to this case.

Victim B is a person who sued former Mayor Park for sexual harassment.

In response, Mr. A generally admitted that he molested Mr. B on the day of the crime in court, but argued that Mr. B's mental injury was caused by continued sexual harassment by Mayor Park.

The court also admitted the harassment of former Mayor Park, saying, "It is no doubt that the victim suffered considerable mental pain from Park Won-soon's sexual harassment."

However, the judiciary pointed out Mr. A's crime as the cause of the injury, saying, "If you combine hospital counseling records and psychological evaluation reports, these circumstances cannot be seen as the direct cause of victim PTSD."
