Cosmonaut Babkin removed from the ISS-65 expedition backup crew

It is noted that instead of Babkin, Roskosmos cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev was approved as a flight engineer for this backup crew, as well as the backup crew of the Soyuz MS manned spacecraft.

“The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-18 manned spacecraft under the International Space Station program is scheduled for April 2021,” the state corporation added.

In early November, the Interdepartmental Commission for the Selection of Cosmonauts approved the main and backup crews of the 65th long-term expedition to the ISS.
