were 665 new corona19 confirmed cases in Korea yesterday, and it remained at 600 for the third day.
Among the new confirmed cases, 631 were domestic cases excluding 34 foreign inflows.
By region, 400 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 179 people in Seoul and 189 people in Gyeonggi Province, and 231 people were confirmed in all provinces nationwide except Sejong, with 34 people in Daegu and Ulsan respectively, and 32 in Busan in the non-metropolitan area.
Yesterday, on the weekend, the number of tests was 33,000, down 25,000 from the previous day.
With 25 deaths during the treatment of Corona 19, the cumulative death toll was 1,125.
The quarantine authorities emphasized that the number of patients should be reduced a little further, saying there are still risk factors such as continuous outbreaks and the influx of foreign mutant viruses.

In the eastern detention center in Seoul where a large-scale group infection occurred, 12 additional prisoners were confirmed at the 7th total inspection.
In addition, one additional detention center employee was confirmed, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to correctional facilities nationwide was 1,224.
