A dongle to play the Switch and the PS5 on your laptop -

Geeko

Who said you absolutely need a TV to play?

A young American startup has created a dongle that connects the Switch and the PS5 to a laptop to use its screen as the main display.

In practice, this allows any laptop or tablet screen to be transformed into a game console.

The interest of the small dongle does not end there, however.

The Shadowcast can indeed also record the video stream to stream on platforms like Twitch or YouTube its game sequences. Its biggest asset compared to its competitors?

An ultra-competitive price.

The Shadowcast costs only 39 euros.

The Elgato HD60 S + is sold for 199 euros in stores.

Easy as pie

The American startup proves it in video: the accessory is easy to use.

All you have to do is connect one dongle to your console, the other to your laptop, then connect them via a cable.

The dedicated application will immediately link and start the stream.

It takes less than 30 seconds.

And that could ultimately be the biggest asset of this accessory, cheap and very easy to use.

Launched in pre-order only a few days ago, the accessory has already brought in more than 750,000 euros to its creators.

The first deliveries are scheduled for March 2021.
