The body found on the sea near Jeju Port in Jeju City today (31st) was identified as a Korean sailor of 32 min-hos who sunk after being overturned.



The Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency said it was identified as a Korean sailor, Chef A (73), as a result of confirming the identity of the body that had been collected at the sea near Jeju Port Pier 3 at around 10:26 am today.



However, the correct identity is finally confirmed through DNA analysis.



It is believed that Mr. A was in the wheelhouse.



A 32 ton (32 ton) shipper of Hallim in Jeju City was overthrown at the sea, 2.6 km northwest of Jeju Port, around 7:44 pm on the 29th.



32 Min-ho later drifted and sank after colliding with the West Breakwater of Jeju Port at around 3:47 a.m. yesterday.



A total of 7 people were on board, including Captain Kim Mo (55), 4 Koreans and 3 Indonesians.
