Two more mutant viruses spreading in the UK were confirmed in Korea, so the number of domestic infections increased to five.

government said that two additional cases of corona 19 mutant virus infection from the UK were confirmed in Korea.



A mutant virus was detected in a man in his 80s who died of cardiac arrest on the 26th while he was self-isolation after entering the UK on the 13th.



Three additional members of the man's family have also been confirmed, and the quarantine authorities are currently checking for mutations.



Another case was a woman in her twenties who entered the United Kingdom from the United Arab Emirates via the United Arab Emirates, who was confirmed as confirmed during the entry quarantine stage and is currently being quarantined at a life treatment center.



The first mutant virus was confirmed in three family members who arrived in London on the 28th, and two more were confirmed today, increasing the number of domestic infection cases to five.



There were 1,050 new corona19 confirmed cases in Korea yesterday, exceeding 1,000 for two consecutive days.



Among the new confirmed cases, 1,025 are domestic outbreaks excluding 25 confirmed cases from overseas.



By region, 705 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 383 people in Seoul and 274 people in Gyeonggi Province, and 320 people were also found in non-capital areas, including 49 in Daegu and 45 in Chungbuk.



There were also 20 deaths related to Corona 19 yesterday, and the cumulative death toll was 879.
