The Prime Minister even apologized yesterday (29th) for the failure to quarantine the detention center, and the detainees wrote down the poor situation inside and showed it to reporters through a grate.

14 confirmed coronaviruses related to the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul were added to 762 as of yesterday's 0:00.
Among them, one prisoner, who was a severe hemodialysis patient, was found to have died on the 27th. In 2003, it was Yoon Chang-yeol, the so-called'Good Morning City's pre-sale fraud case, who intercepted the sale price of 370 billion won.
The correctional authorities explained that "Yoon died after receiving coronavirus confirmation on the 23rd, after receiving treatment for four days at an external hospital due to the decision to suspend execution."
Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae conducted quarantine inspections at the Eastern Detention Center, but complaints from detainees are growing.
Detainees here also showed the reporters outside the window a paper that said,'Eight people are accommodated in each confirmed room, and sending out letters is prohibited.'
There was even a conflict over the quarantine failure.
When the Ministry of Justice announced the position that it seemed to be putting the responsibility for the delay in the full inspection of prisoners to Seoul and Songpa-gu, the Seoul Metropolitan Government expressed regret to the Ministry of Justice, saying that the total investigation was a matter agreed upon by the relevant agencies after sufficient consultation.
In the meantime, 16 additional prisoners were confirmed negative at the eastern detention center in Seoul and transferred to the southern prison, raising concerns about the large-scale spread to other correctional facilities.
