Due to the change of flight schedule in the aftermath of Corona 19, a Pakistani trader who was temporarily living in a warehouse in Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province, unable to leave the country in time, died in a fire.



According to the police and fire departments, today (29th) at around 3:50 am, a fire in a remote storage warehouse in Yangju was extinguished in about 6 hours.



The fire killed Mr. A, 44, a Pakistani citizen, who was temporarily staying in a warehouse.



According to a statement from a neighbor, Mr. A is a trader and was planning to leave Korea by plane on the 9th.



However, due to the change of flight schedule in the aftermath of Corona 19, it was found that he lived in a warehouse operated by an acquaintance.



At the site, blankets and electric blankets used by Mr. A, and gas equipment for stoves were found.



Police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire, as it is highly likely that the fire was caused by electrical factors.
