The domestic influx of the Corona 19 mutant virus from the UK has been confirmed.

A family member who arrived in Korea a week ago and was in quarantine after being inspected at Incheon Airport.

The government is taking measures to prevent further inflows, and is conducting additional inspections on passengers flying with them as well as other arrivals from the UK.

There are a total of 3 people infected with Corona 19'mutant virus', as revealed by the quarantine authorities.



They were a family residing in London, England, and they entered Korea through Incheon International Airport on the 22nd, were examined, confirmed, and received quarantine treatment.



This is the first time that a mutant virus from the UK has been confirmed in Korea.
