Professor Kyung-Shim Chung arrives at the court to attend the first trial sentence.

[Kyung-Shim Jeong/Professor of Dongyang University: (How are you?)

.] In a

trial that lasted more than an hour, the court sentenced Professor Jeong to court with a four-year sentence in jail and a fine of 500 million won.

First of all, the court said that all charges of the prosecution against the alleged irregularities in the entrance examination were admitted.

Tong Yang University's citations were also forged, and it was concluded that various career certificates issued by various universities were also false specifications.

The judges stressed that severe punishment was inevitable as they abandoned social belief in the entrance examination system.

Regarding the allegations of private equity funds, he admitted that he had used undisclosed information and conducted financial transactions under the name of a loan, but he was considered innocent for embezzling the funds of the private equity manager Kolink PE.

Regarding the alleged destruction of evidence, he admitted that he instructed him to delete the materials related to Professor Jeong's younger brother, which was kept by Corlink PE, but the charges of concealing evidence and teachers were found innocent.

Professor Jeong's side filed an appeal with the court right after the sentence was sentenced yesterday.
