, a spokesperson said Monday after questions from NU.nl.

The developer behind the highly anticipated game has come under a lot of criticism for the bugs that appear on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

"Currently, Cyberpunk 2077's technical performance on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One base consoles is not optimal," MediaMarkt said.

The seller points to updates expected to be released in 2021 that should address the issues.

MediaMarkt is the third major online store to warn about the game's performance: bol.com and Game Mania already reported defects.

A spokesperson for MediaMarkt said at the time that customers in physical stores would already be warned, but all stores were closed due to the lockdown.

Cyberpunk 2077

was released on December 10, "chock full of bugs and problems," according to the review on NU.nl.

The problems even led to Sony removing the game from digital shelves.

The game, which was announced in 2012, should have been one of the biggest hits of the year, but the Polish studio has to dig deep through the bugs and errors.
