Gimpo Gold Line train that left Gimpo Airport Station at around 6:30 pm today (21st) and headed for Gochon Station suddenly stopped.



It was reported that over 200 passengers were aboard this two-car train because it was at work, but the sudden stoppage resulted in passengers being trapped in the train for over an hour.

At around 7:30, even passengers complaining of difficulty breathing came out, and the Gimpo Gold Line operator opened the door of the vehicle

Due to the nature of the Gimpo Gold Line, the distance between Gimpo Airport Station and Gochon Station is over 5km.



The Gimpo Gold Line operator said that as soon as the evacuation of passengers is completed, it will restore the train operation and identify the exact cause of the accident by introducing a rescue train.
