As promised last June at its last annual conference, Apple will strengthen its requirements in terms of privacy protection.
This Monday, the brand announced the arrival of new rules for application developers available on the App Store.
They will have to be more transparent about the nature of the personal data they collect, reports

Data classified into three categories
This form must be completed when launching a new application, but also when updating existing applications.
The software developed by the Cupertino company is also concerned.
Apple will then take care of classifying the information collected into three categories: "data used to track you" (location, identifiers, etc.), "data relating to you" (financial information, purchase history, etc.) and " data that are not attached to you ”(anonymized data).
A step aside from its competitors
Thus, for each application, users will be able to see if one or more of these boxes are checked.
At a glance, they can therefore determine whether or not an app deemed intrusive is worth downloading.
With this new device, Apple is establishing constraints similar to those of the GDPR (general data protection regulation).
But above all, the company wants to stand out more from Google and Facebook.
Unlike its competitors, it has chosen not to sell the data it collects.
